The "Beyond 97" concert by Leslie Cheung was held from December 1996 to June 1997. The opening music, featuring a re-orchestrated medley of "The Wind Still Blows," "Red Lips, White Hair," and "When the Wind Rises Again," marked the beginning of Leslie Cheung's "Beyond 97" concert. Throughout the entire concert, Leslie Cheung performed nearly 35 classic songs, including "Love," "Side by Side," "This Life, This World," "Red," and "When Love Becomes a Memory." During the concert, Leslie Cheung dedicated "Moonlight Expresses My Heart" to his beloved friends and family members: his mother and Mr. Tang, as well as all the fans in the audience. He was also the first person to initiate a charity fundraising campaign during a concert, raising one million Hong Kong dollars for the Children's Cancer Fund, while also donating one million Hong Kong dollars himself.
