Running Man is a new segment of the weekend entertainment program "Sunday's Good Day" on South Korea's SBS television station. It is a new variety show hosted by South Korea's famous host, Lee Jae-suk, who took over the program five months after the end of the first season of "Family Outing." As Lee Jae-suk's return to SBS's variety show lineup, Running Man aims to create a new type of entertainment program that is different from the traditional real variety shows. It can be considered as SBS's new variety show with a high stake on its reputation. The show began airing as "Sunday's Good Day - Part 1" on July 11, 2010. The program determines the winner through team-based games where participants collect coins or running balls, and the losing team receives a punishment. The show is hosted by a group of highly entertaining comedians and variety show stars, including Lee Jae-suk, Ji Shi-jin, HAHA, Kim Jong-kook, Gary, Kang Hee-kan, Song Ji-hyo, and Lee Kwang-soo.
