According to F&F Entertainment, they have recently partnered with SBS with the goal of airing a global girl group audition program titled "Universe Ticket" in the second half of this year. The subtitle is "The Miracle of 82." "Universe Ticket" is SBS's first girl group audition program, with PD Lee Hwan-jin, who previously served as the assistant PD for "K-POP STAR," directed SBS's signature program "Running Man," and led the boy group audition program "LOUD" for JYP Entertainment and P NATION, taking charge as the program's PD. "Universe Ticket" is a large-scale global audition program born with the meaning of the digits in South Korea's international telephone area code, 82. Eighty-two trainees will compete, going through 82 days of special tasks, and will ultimately select eight final members for the girl group in both real and virtual spaces. Regardless of nationality or whether they are under contract with an agency, any girl aged 10 to 19 with the dream of becoming the next K-POP girl group can apply. The selected trainees will receive full support from F&F Entertainment as their agency for activities over a period of two and a half years. Director Lee Hwan-jin PD stated, "I've looked into all the audition programs that have been aired in recent years. Every program has its strengths and weaknesses. We are considering ways to maximize the strengths and minimize the weaknesses. To prioritize addressing issues such as favoritism in airtime and malicious editing, we will increase the participation of the auditionees in voting and raise its weight. This is to differentiate the actual personalities, teamwork, honesty, and fundamental abilities of the participants that are not visible in the program, rather than the abilities formed through short-term intensive practice." Currently, "Universe Ticket" has completed its planning and officially begun production, with an expected airing in the second half of 2023.
