Shin Seon-mi (played by Choi Rin) is a kind-hearted girl who lost her mother at a young age and grew up under her father's careful care. Seon-mi has always liked her neighbor's son, Woo-jin (played by Han Jae-seok). One day, a worker at her father's construction company dies in an accident on the construction site, and the worker's daughter, Yeong-mi (played by Kim Soo-yeon), is brought home. Yeong-mi, who has always lacked warmth in her family life, is extremely envious of Seon-mi's popularity and tries every means to compete with her for attention, and even to steal Woo-jin, who Seon-mi loves.
