Detective Ryuya Sounojiri (played by Kazuki Kitamura) from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Investigation Division and Detective Assistant Banpei Tadagari (played by Ryoichi Arakawa) from the Yaizu Island Police Station head to an isolated island known as "Army Island." They discover the bodies of ten victims on this large "closed-off" island. Who is the perpetrator? And why were these ten people gathered together before their collective demise? The owner of the "Natural Island Inn" on this isolated island, Shun Nanjo, brought together ten individuals. Those invited included former swimmer Ryuu Shiraoka (played by Yukie Nakama), former Tokyo District Court judge Hyogo Ishigaki (played by Tsuyoshi Wadase), former national assembly member Seimei Mondomo (played by Masahiko Tsugawa), emergency center doctor Erika Kanbe (played by Mei Kaji), former mercenary Ken Ishidou (played by Toshiro Yanagiba), former actress Ayako Hoshizora (played by Mai Daichi), mystery writer Takumi Gomei (played by Ryo Muro), and former detective Kenkichi Kumaibe (played by Saisyu Kouno) — making a total of eight. Upon arrival, the inn'sButler couple, Shinobu Sogawa (played by Tsuguo Hashikawa) and Keimi (played by Ritsuko Fujima), announce that the owner, Nanjo, is not present. The group, filled with a mix of anticipation and unease, begins to enjoy their dinner when a mysterious voice suddenly reveals their past crimes. As each person's past sins begin to surface in their minds, and as the ten individuals start to investigate one another's pasts, a sudden murder occurs right before their eyes. This marks the beginning of a series of deaths, with each of the ten individuals meeting their end one after another. In the midst of this, the isolated island in the vast ocean becomes a massive "closed-off" space. Who is the perpetrator? And what could be the reason these ten people were invited and subsequently met their deaths one by one? A detective with a genius-like observational mind faces an unprecedented and massive mystery...
