Slade, portrayed by Rob Heaps, is an ordinary man who never imagined that a beautiful woman named Eva would enter his life and become his wife. Just as the happiness of their new marriage was still lingering, Eva swiftly took all of Slade's possessions and disappeared without a trace. While searching for Eva, Slade encounters Richard, portrayed by Parker Young, who is also looking for his missing wife, Alice. Upon sharing their stories, the two men discover that their situations are strikingly similar, and the women they are searching for, Eva and Alice, might just be the same person. Soon, a third victim also comes to light. The three men decide to join forces and embark on a cat-and-mouse game with the female con artist.
