Zai Ren (played by Ha Seok Jin) is the grandson of Lee Gye Cheol, the chairman of the Seongyeon Group. Having lost his father at a young age, Zai Ren grew up under the strict guidance of his grandfather. The two had vastly different personalities, leading to disagreements on many matters. As time passed, these conflicts accumulated and eventually erupted. After a heated argument with his grandfather, Zai Ren left home to start living on his own. One day, Zai Ren accidentally learns that his grandfather has made a will stating that if Zai Ren does not marry a woman named Doo Hyun (played by Jeon So Min), he will lose all rights to inherit the family's fortune. Enraged, Zai Ren sees Doo Hyun as a deceitful and manipulative person, and their relationship is fraught with tension. However, as time goes on, Zai Ren begins to discover Doo Hyun's kind and gentle nature. Despite his outward appearance as a spoiled brat, Zai Ren feels a strong stir in his heart.
