The boss of a family company, Hem, is dissatisfied with his only son's (Heman's father) choice of wife and forces her to leave the house, leading to an unfortunate car accident that results in her death. Heman is then left in the care of Chan, a disabled boxer with kidney disease. Later, Hem adopts three children, who are the fathers of Namtarn, Lawan, and Tonaa, respectively. The three families compete to seize Hem's inheritance (it appears that Namtarn and Lawan are not particularly interested, judging by the plot). Both Hem and Montra (the grandmother) do not want the company to fall into the hands of the wrong people. Heman works multiple jobs to support his family, treat his foster father's illness, and continue his education. He also adopts his younger brother Haray, who was abandoned by their birth mother, showing his strength and kindness. Once, while repairing shoes, Heman meets Namtarn, who appreciates his shoe-repairing skills and offers to help him with his debts, but is misunderstood by Heman. Fate brings them together several times, leading to a shift from mutual dislike to discovering each other's strengths. Later, the foster father, knowing his time is limited, reveals Heman's true identity to his grandfather. The grandfather decides to test whether Heman is a suitable heir to the company, having Namtarn and a lawyer create frequent troubles for the protagonist. Heman resolves the issues and agrees to join the company, partly to get closer to Namtarn and partly to take care of his troublemaking younger brother. The grandfather then asks the foster father to leave Heman's life, ensuring he has no blemishes in his past. Subsequently, the grandfather arranges a betrothal between Namtarn and Tonaa, but misunderstandings arise due to Heman. A series of events lead to Namtarn being kidnapped, and Heman rescues her, leading to a pleasant time together. After experiencing the death of his foster father, punishing corrupt company officials, and other events, Heman returns to the company, and the two are together happily.
