Young man Jiang Li (played by Zhang Hanyu), along with his friends Fei Xiaodi (played by Ye Jing) and the wealthy Wu Liwei (played by Fu Biao), decide to establish Weige Film and Television Company in the hope of making a mark in the entertainment industry. To secure investors, Jiang Li sets his sights on the Hong Kong millionaire Wang Shuxian (played by Yu Lan).
