Netflix's new Spanish-language series, *La Casa de las Flores* (The House of Flowers), has released its first teaser, announcing its premiere on August 10th. Created by Manolo Caro (director of *Mala Noche* and *Goya's Ghosts*), the series stars Verónica Castro, Asli Delbé, and Cecilia Suárez. The story revolves around a seemingly successful family in the flower business, whose idyllic and peaceful life conceals a secret of dysfunction: one day, the patriarch discovers that his old lover has suddenly passed away, and he decides to bring their child into his current home to live together, without his current wife and children knowing about their existence. The show explores the necessity of protecting and forgiving loved ones, regardless of how uncomfortable or awkward it may feel.
