Video information
Huo Yan (played by Jun Gong), a graduate of a fire academy, becomes the vice-station master of a fire station. He meets emergency department doctor Yan Lan (played by Huiwen Zhang) during a rescue operation involving dismantling a taxi to save a pregnant woman. Their acquaintance begins with a misunderstanding. "Old Cadre" Huo Yan views "Little Sunshine" Yan Lan as the only uncertain factor in his life, leading to a rollercoaster of their relationship. During a cross-provincial reinforcement mission for an earthquake, Huo Yan and Yan Lan witness the extreme situations and farewells that emerge, which elevates their feelings for each other. Their joint efforts in rescue operations, such as saving beekeepers, bring them closer. Yan Lan, driven by her medical ideals, dedicates herself to saving lives, while Huo Yan and others who have been helped in the past quietly support her in their own ways. On the other hand, new recruit firefighter Jiang Tong gradually develops feelings for what appears to be a timid and avoidant firefighter, Wang Dayin. Caught between her family's strong opposition and Wang Dayin's evasive behavior, Jiang Tong tries to uncover Wang Dayin's backstory, which gradually transforms him into a man with a sense of mission and responsibility.
