"DropDeadDiva" has received some good news. Although Lifetime decided to cancel the show earlier this year, the network has now changed its mind and renewed it for a fifth season. Previously, there was a dispute between the production studio and the network over funding for the fifth season, but they have now reached an agreement. The story follows a spirited model who, after dying, becomes trapped in the body of a chubby lawyer named Jane, and revolves around Jane's career as a lawyer. The finale of the fourth season of "DropDeadDiva" achieved the highest ratings in the show's history, reaching 2.76 million viewers. The episode concluded with a major twist, as Jane's fiancé dies, and Jane's true soul returns to her fiancé's body.
