In the drama, the female lead Bai Zai (played by Yang Fuyu) is a small demon created by the sorcerer Su Molun using the spiritual power of a meteorite from beyond the heavens. She is clever, mischievous, and both arrogant and adorable, with a fondness for food and fun. To avenge the murder of her master, she willingly becomes Liu Changge's bodyguard, investigating Bai Yu's movements. As she spends more time with the male lead Liu Changge, they develop feelings for each other. The male lead Liu Changge (played by Yu Feifan) is a half-human, half-demon, and the most powerful and martially skilled prince. He is later attracted to Bai Zai and always secretly protects her, accompanying her to eat various kinds of radishes. The two endure the dangers posed by the national teacher Shen Yi and ultimately fall in love, vowing to spend their lives together!
