This work is a suspense story set in the "Finger Crime Countermeasure Unit" (nicknamed "Finger Unit"), established by the Metropolitan Police Department to address "keyboard killings" or "finger killings" that arise from internet defamation, cyberbullying, and online scandals. The story follows the lone-wolf detective Banjou Wataru, who has been sidelined from the front lines of the Investigation Division, as he works with a group of eccentric team members to investigate and uncover the identity of an invisible criminal known as "Anonymous."
