Video information

In 12th century England, the Saxons lived under the cruel rule of the Normans. Among them was Robert of Locksley, whose father was a forester. His family had been stripped of their ancestral home, and his father was executed by the Sheriff of Nottingham, shattering Robert's life. Robert possessed a longbow. He emerged from his grief and eventually embraced resistance, and his fate became intertwined with that of Marian, a noblewoman torn between her loyalty to her family and her love for him. As tensions escalated, Robert gathered a motley crew of outlaws who shared little in common except their Saxon heritage and their desire to resist tyranny. In Sherwood Forest, they fought against corruption and injustice, provoking the Sheriff, the barons, and the Norman royal court. What began as an act of revenge evolved into a greater cause: the legend of Robin Hood, a symbol of rebellion, whose struggle would determine the fate of England.
