This work is adapted from the eponymous manga and is a love story centered around the awkward journey of finding their own happiness by two individuals, Ichiro Kanbara and Kei Ikeda, who are in a superior-subordinate relationship. Ichiro, due to past psychological trauma, avoids getting close to others, while Kei believes he cannot fall in love with anyone and lives a life devoid of romance. Kei, who respects Ichiro as a member of society, begins spending time with him outside of work, sharing their common interest in movies. Kei had not anticipated their relationship deepening, but one day, fueled by alcohol, Ichiro confesses to him that he is gay.
