The story begins with a whistleblowing letter exposing the unethical behavior of a politician. StarWild.Maki (played by Hanae Yaguchi), the daughter of the ruling party's secretary-general and also his secretary, secretly investigates the truth, but as a result, she is cut off by her father, losing her job and her place to stay, and her life instantly plunges to the bottom. At her wit's end, she meets Moonoka Akari (played by Kaede Nozaki), a straightforward and politically inexperienced hostess of a small bar. Suddenly, a Tokyo Metropolitan Governor election arises, prompting Maki to consider recommending this political novice as a candidate. The two women, with vastly different backgrounds and personalities, join forces and fight side by side in the election campaign, which is intertwined with power struggles and public opinion. They embark on a heartwarming and unconventional election story that is both humorous and touching.
