After preventing the world from ending in 1963, the Umbrella Academy returns to the present, convinced they have averted the original apocalypse and fully restored the forgotten timeline. However, after a brief celebration, they realize they have (completely) miscalculated. The brilliant, stylish, and cold Sparrow Academy clashes with the Umbrella Academy in a heated confrontation, but this is far from the Umbrella Academy's biggest problem. The Umbrella Academy will face challenges, losses, and surprises as they deal with an unknown entity wreaking havoc in the universe (which may have been caused by their own actions). Now, they must convince Dad's new (and possibly better) family to help correct the errors caused by their arrival. Can they find a way back to before the world ends? Or is this new world more than just a small glitch in the timeline, with disaster looming?
