The beloved foodie, Goemon Inoue, is back! Goemon Inoue (played by Yutaka Matsushige), the owner of a small general store, will not only continue to search for all sorts of quirky items for his eccentric customers this summer but will also take viewers on another culinary journey through the streets of Japan, indulging in a variety of mouthwatering delicacies during his work breaks. From a lavish cream fruit sandwich breakfast, to rich and aromatic black coffee, to glistening eel paired with translucent rice, to the ever-popular Chinese cuisine, Goemon, though dining alone, fully embraces his solitary yet carefree spirit with even more flair. The satisfaction after a hearty meal not only reminds us of the simple joys of life but also reveals the "not-so-lonely" folk foodie, Goemon Inoue. This series is the third season adapted from the manga of the same name, created by Masayuki Hisui and illustrated by Jiro Taniguchi. It continues the documentary style of the previous seasons, and each episode still includes real-life visits by the original author to the shops featured in the show, allowing viewers to delve deeper into the stories behind the dishes.
