Beautiful young Angela Albright (played by Sarah Thompson) travels alone to Adam's College, a remote town in the mountains. While seemingly peaceful, the town is actually a dangerous place, as reports of missing and murdered girls have been circulating for some time. One day, Angela sees a notice on the school bulletin board seeking a babysitter. To earn some money, she applies for the job at the farm mentioned in the notice. The employer is the young couple, Jim Stanton (played by Bruce Thomas) and Valrie (Kristen Dalton), who are about to attend a gathering on the farm and need someone to look after their young son, Sam (played by Kai Caster). On the night of the interview, Sam goes to bed early, leaving Angela alone to read. The evening seems calm and peaceful. However, a series of events soon begin to terrify Angela: silent harassment phone calls, persistent knocking on the door, Sam's unnerving silence, and a mysterious man who frequently follows her. All of this suggests that there is a more terrifying secret lurking behind it all...
