In a future world, the military develops a drug to enhance the combat capabilities of soldiers, but their experiments go awry, leading to a large number of civilians being exposed to failed experimental agents. As a result, a bio-engineered population with abnormal physical traits is born. The military constructs massive isolation facilities and develops the ultimate weapon to combat the bio-engineered individuals. In response, the bio-engineered organization sends a female warrior named Violet (played by Milla Jovovich) to infiltrate the military and violentlyseize the ultimate weapon. Curious, Violet opens the packaging of the ultimate weapon on her journey and discovers that it contains a young boy (played by Cameron Bright). It turns out that the boy's blood contains an antigen capable of eliminating the bio-engineered individuals. Violet believes that the antigen could also restore bio-engineered individuals to their human form. Dissatisfied with the organization's brutal approach, she decides to betray them and embarks on a desperate escape with the boy, who calls himself "Number 6," evading both the military and the bio-engineered organization. However, there is a larger secret behind the young boy that remains to be uncovered.
