John, who has just been released from prison, re-enters jail not for any other reason but for revenge. It turns out that John's current imprisonment is for a mission — to protect the son of a prosecutor named Nelson (played by Will Arnett), who happens to be the very person responsible for sending John to prison multiple times. As a form of retribution, John immediately sells Nelson to Barry, the feared leader of the prison's gay community, played by Chi McBride. John, expecting Nelson to endure inhumane treatment, is surprised to find that Nelson unexpectedly stirs up love and tenderness within Barry. Soon, the two become deeply connected. Thus, Nelson transforms from a prison novice into the famous "wife of the boss." In despair, John realizes that his upcoming days will not be easy.
