During the Vietnam War, Colonel Barlock and several comrades failed in a mission and became prisoners of the Viet Cong. The US government regarded these men as "missing in action." In the POW camp, Colonel Yang, the Viet Cong leader, constantly abused the prisoners with brutal methods, violating the Geneva Convention, and forced Barlock to sign a document acknowledging the crime of aggression against Vietnam. Despite enduring all kinds of persecution, Barlock refused to give in. Seeing his comrades being killed one by one, he decided to fight back and finally escaped the camp after experiencing countless dangers.
