Nancy (played by Lake Bell) is a 34-year-old female journalist. One day, on a train, Nancy meets a girl who leaves her a book as a meeting code with her blind date. When the train arrives at the station, Nancy tries to return the book to the girl, but she is nowhere to be found. While Nancy is wandering under the clock at London Waterloo Station holding the book, a man named Jack (played by Simon Pegg) calls out to her. He is holding a book identical to Nancy's. It turns out that Jack mistakenly took Nancy for his blind date. Thus, by chance, Nancy and Jack begin to date. Will this relationship, which started with a misunderstanding, reach its happy ending?
