Video information
An indie film from the United States, it tells the story of Dante (played by Brian O'Halloran), a small-town penny store clerk, and his frustrating day. After a night of poor sleep, Dante is called in early in the morning by his boss to work overtime. This is just the beginning of his unlucky day. More troubles follow, such as opening the store, spraying slogans, and encountering a nagging anti-smoking activist who disrupts the store's business. Dante, already overwhelmed, also has to deal with his girlfriend Veronica (played by Marilyn Ghigliotti), who comes to the store to share her sexual experiences with him. This encounter ends in an argument, as Veronica's number of past sexual partners leaves Dante in awe. The troubles continue to pile up, and then Dante's ex-girlfriend arrives, giving him a moment of hope. It seems like his luck might finally turn around. However, a "strange encounter" in the bathroom destroys this fleeting moment of happiness.
