The film is adapted from Rinri Shiotsu's novel, with Hirose playing "victim" Kaesa Uchi, who was kidnapped at the age of nine, and Ryusei Yokohama playing Kaesa's fiancé. Matsuzaka will portray the "perpetrator" college student Fumi Saito from that time, while Tadabe plays the nurse Hanako Tan, who is close to Fumi Saito. The two, living with the labels of "victim" and "perpetrator," are actually hiding the truth of the event that occurred at that time.
