A boy named Yu Xiang (played by Huang Yuxiang) has extraordinary musical talent and plays the piano beautifully, but he is born blind. He refuses to participate in any competitions, hoping only to live a life like an ordinary person. For the first time, he leaves home to study in the north, where he meets Xiao Jie (played by Zhang Rongrong), a girl who loves dancing but has been forced to give up her dream due to circumstances. Yu Xiang can "see" the beauty in the world that others cannot, and he has never given up on this world. He is like a warm ray of light that shines into Xiao Jie's cold heart, while Xiao Jie leads Yu Xiang through adventures he has never experienced before. Two souls that seem destined never to intersect become the lost strength for each other. The radiant light behind them warms and inspires them to spread their wings and fly toward their dreams. This film is adapted from a true story, with the male protagonist Huang Yuxiang playing himself. The female lead is portrayed by Zhang Rongrong, the double winner of the Taipei Film Festival and the Asia Pacific Film Festival. The two continue their excellent chemistry from their previous works, portraying a story of mutual encouragement and courage in pursuing their dreams. Director Zhang Rongji won the Best New Director Award at the 49th Taiwan Golden Horse Awards in 2012 for this film. Female lead Zhang Rongrong was nominated for the Best Actress Award at the 49th Taiwan Golden Horse Awards in 2012, and male lead Huang Yuxiang was nominated for the Best New Actor Award at the 7th Asia Film Awards in 2013.
