Video information
The drama is set in the Ming Dynasty martial arts world, with secret weapons as the mainClue, telling the story of the transition from cold weapons to hot weapons. The Arbitration Hall, a renowned righteous faction, produced two "outsiders." One is the arbitrator Xiong Yunzheng (played by Luan Junwei), and the other is Zhongcha Ye Zangfei (played by Zhao Hongfei). Although they come from different backgrounds, they are "birds of a feather" and as close as brothers. They are rejected by their peers who preach the orthodoxy of martial arts. Five years ago, after Xiong Yunzheng solved a secret weapon case, he became deeply infatuated with secret weapons, believing that secret weapons should also be included in the orthodoxy of martial arts. He eventually obtained a gun through secret channels and became obsessed with it, only to be betrayed and killed by his fellow disciples in a fire gun ambush. Ye Zangfei eventually captures the murderer and retrieves the weapon, avenging his brother and aspiring to restore the order of martial arts. He is extremely opposed to firearms, but ultimately meets his end at the hands of firearms as well. No one can stop the progress of the times. "Secret Weapons" takes you through the evolution of Chinese weaponry.
