Actor Takeshi Sakurai (played by Yuya Nakajima) has struggled for years without any success, living in poverty and having failed in love, to the point of attempting suicide unsuccessfully. Desperate, he decides to go to a public bathhouse. By chance, he slips on a bar of soap and knocks out an unknown man. Taking advantage of the situation, Sakurai steals the man's locker key and assumes his identity, adopting the name Shindo and living a life of luxury he never dared dream of. However, he soon discovers that Shindo (played by Teruyoshi Nakano) is actually a cold-blooded hitman feared in the underworld. Sakurai is then forced to take on assignments from the mob, reluctantly becoming a killer. Meanwhile, Shindo wakes up in the hospital with amnesia, mistakenly believing he is the desperate Sakurai. With the help of a beautiful woman, Hinami Mizushima (played by Ryo Asuka), Shindo gradually rediscovers his identity as an actor and searches for a new direction in life. In the process, his and Hinami's hearts begin to change. When Shindo regains his memory, the fates of the three are intertwined... This film was awarded the 8th place in the 2012 Japan MovieFortnightly report Top Ten Films.
