Meng Kerou (played by Meng Guiren), a high school student, and Lin Yu Zhen (played by Liang Shuhui) are inseparable friends. Yu Zhen confesses to Kerou that she has fallen in love with a boy named Zhang Shihao (played by Chen Bolei) and often asks Kerou to help her get closer to him, introduce herself, and pass love letters to him. Unbeknownst to them, Shihao mistakenly believes that Kerou is the one who likes him, so he frequently finds excuses to spend time with her. However, it turns out that Yu Zhen has been sending letters to Shihao under Kerou's name, which angers Kerou and strains their friendship.
