In the early years of the Republic of China, the situation in Northeast China was complex, with warlords, bandits, and Japanese spies vying for control, each occupying their own territories, leaving the people suffering. Although General Lin Guodong had no great ambitions, he still had patriotic sentiments. The Japanese repeatedly tried to lure him, but he remained steadfast. Within the region, only the town of Fuxing could be called a haven, strangely free from bandit attacks. Local legends claimed that the town was cursed, and any bandits who dared to invade Fuxing would mysteriously disappear. In reality, seven retired martial arts masters lived there, including Little Tailor Jiaopu Si (played by Wang Zulan), the sisters Madonna (played by Wu Junru) and Mading Hong (played by Xie Na) who ran a restaurant, Flower Tianjiao (played by Zeng Zhiwei) who worked as a wet nurse, Taoist monks Jia, Yi, and Bing (played by Yuan Hua), Little Bell (played by Cheng Zhongji) who sold cosmetics, and brothel madam Daiyu (played by Meng Yao). Each of them possessed extraordinary skills. They would eliminate bandits completely every time, ensuring the safety of the townspeople. Lin Guodong's daughter, Xue'er (played by Tong Fei), loved cooking and often came to the town to buy fresh vegetables and fruits. Due to her beauty and vivacity, she won the hearts of the heroes, especially Little Tailor Jiaopu Si, who fell in love with her at first sight, regarding her as his dream lover. Japanese female spy Kurosawa Aiko conspired with Hanjian Hong Hu, Hong Bao, and Hong Feng of the Tiger Villa, setting up an intelligence base. She used coded messages to send intelligence back to Japan and attempted to seduce Lin Guodong, then used ninja techniques to control his mind. She planned to kill Xue'er, but Xue'er managed to escape. Xue'er fled to Fuxing Town to seek help from the Seven Heroes to save her father from danger. Before the Seven Heroes could decide, Aiko took the initiative and hired assassins to target them. The townspeople, including a 100-year-old man, rose up in resistance, which moved the Seven Heroes to join forces and repel the assassins. The Seven Heroes then set out for the Tiger Villa. On the day of the arranged wedding between Aiko and Lin Guodong, she plotted to become the commander's wife and control Lin Guodong's army. Fortunately, the heroes arrived in time to disrupt the wedding. Lin Guodong regained his senses and, together with the heroes, fought Aiko and the Hong siblings, ultimately defeating the enemies. After the Seven Heroes left, Lin Guodong resolved to fully resist Japanese forces, vowing to protect our beautiful homeland.
