A successful young female entrepreneur named Qianqian, while on a business trip, was traveling in a private plane that encountered turbulence and crashed into the sea. Upon waking up, she found herself as Princess Miaoshan in ancient times. Here, demons led by the Stone Demon were wreaking havoc. Qianqian saved General Wei and, together with General Wei, Princess Miaoshan's betrothed Qingming, the archer Wu You, and the priest Xuanhuan, formed a team to eliminate demons. They set out for Wujishan Mountain to find the legendary artifact, the Kumu Staff, which is said to be able to subdue the Stone Demon. Qingming disapproves of General Wei's affection for Qianqian, and the two frequently clash. It is only after Qianqian's efforts to mediate that they put aside their grievances. The team grows through trials and tribulations, and their unity strengthens. After enduring countless hardships, they finally obtain the artifact. However, the Stone Demon learns of this and devises a plan to kill Wu You and Xuanhuan, destroying the artifact. In her grief, Qianqian comes to realize that true compassion for all beings is not about killing demons but about subduing their inner demons with a compassionate heart. Qianqian confronts the Stone Demon, sacrificing herself to release the demon from its inner torment. Qianqian then returns to reality, gaining a new understanding of life.
