This film is a sequel to *Bad Boys*, and the story continues to take place in Miami. Drug trafficking in Miami has suddenly become extremely rampant, and the turf wars between various drug cartels have intensified. To investigate the internal conflicts within the drug cartels, the "golden" duo of the Miami Police Department, the suave Laurie (Will Smith) and the eccentric Bina (Martin Lawrence), are once again assigned to handle the crisis. Soon, they uncover the truth: an external drug trafficking force is infiltrating the Miami drug market. The leader of the drug cartel is ambitious, aiming to control drug trafficking across the entire United States and even Europe, establishing a drug empire. As the police launch an operation toexterminate the drug cartel, a DEA undercover agent, Sydney (Gabrielle Union), is kidnapped by the drug traffickers. The kidnappers demand that Laurie and Bina commit illegal acts, which puts the duo in a difficult situation. This is because the beautiful Sydney is not only Bina's sister but also Laurie's lover.
