Young Martin (played by Connor Paolo) witnesses his family being slaughtered by vampires during a rainy night. Fortunately, a mysterious stranger who calls himself "The Man" (played by Nick Damici) arrives and rescues Martin. As the United States falls into chaos under the vampire attacks and national organizations crumble, Martin follows The Man's lead, embarking on a journey to the north in search of freedom, guided by The Man's training. Together, they navigate through isolated towns that have shut themselves off for self-protection, eliminating vampires and malicious villains along the way. They save a nun from a gang of thugs, but this act leads to their capture by the Christian Brotherhood. The Brotherhood believes that vampires are messengers sent by God to purify the Earth and collaborates with the vampires to launch an assault on humanity. Martin and The Man are sentenced to death for killing Brotherhood members but manage to escape. They continue their journey toward the northern land of freedom, facing the Brotherhood's blockades and an uncertain fate...
