During the mid-Qianlong period, the Dacheng River experienced a severe flood, and the magistrate of Shengfang County, Li Man Cang, took advantage of the situation to engage in corruption, exacerbating the disaster. To investigate the situation of the people, Emperor Qianlong, accompanied by a princess and his personal bodyguard, traveled incognito through Sanzhou (present-day Bazhou) to visit Shengfang, known as the "Shengshui He Fang." However, this information was intercepted by the anti-Qing and pro-Ming organization Tian Di Hui and by the Eastern Yi and Japanese pirates who hated the Qing government's extermination policies. A shocking assassination plot was thus set in motion... That night, when Qianlong and his entourage stayed at the He Xiang Zhai Inn in Shengfang, they were attacked by Jiang Shi Cheng, the head of the Tian Di Hui, and the elder brother of Xue Shu Ying. Out of old affection and to try to reform him, Xue Shu Ying let Jiang Shi Cheng go. On the way back, Xue Shu Ying obtained the embezzlement ledger of the magistrate of Wen'an County, Li Man Cang, from the "Righteous Bandit" Lone Wanderer, and learned that Yamamoto Taro had brought 300 samurai to assassinate Emperor Qianlong. Despite Xue Shu Ying's warnings, Qianlong insisted on going to the magistracy to severely punish Li Man Cang. Unbeknownst to him, Li Man Cang had already colluded with the Japanese pirates, setting a trap to ensnare Qianlong and his entourage. The son of the former Minister of Rites, Left Shangshu, Left Kuang, came to assassinate Qianlong in revenge for his father, but was captured. However, he learned from Qianlong that his father was killed due to resisting the Japanese pirates and was framed by treacherous officials. Left Kuang fell into confusion and accidentally met the Lone Wanderer. Under the Lone Wanderer's persuasion, he became one of Qianlong's guards. Due to natural disasters and human misfortunes, some disaster-stricken people from Henan and Shandong fled to Shengfang. The famous doctor Wu Dao Chun in Shengfang used his family's secret formula to provide free medical assistance to many disaster-stricken people. To obtain the formula, Li Man Cang fabricated false charges and forcibly shut down Wu Dao Chun's pharmacy, hiring assassins to kill the famous doctor and seize the formula. When the assassins were about to commit the act, they were encountered by Xue Shu Ying, who was trying to save the famous doctor and was attacked by the assassins. Wu Dao Chun's daughter, Wu Chun Zi, was grateful to Xue Shu Ying, and the two developed feelings for each other. Yamamoto Taro sought to strengthen the forces for assassinating Qianlong by attempting to form an alliance with the Tian Di Hui, but was firmly rejected by Jiang Shi Cheng. As a result, Yamamoto Taro used money and high salaries to buy off the deputy head of the Tian Di Hui, Yang Fu Xiang, who then led Japanese samurai to kill Jiang Shi Cheng's wife, attempting to frame Xue Shu Ying. However, Xue Shu Ying helped Jiang Shi Cheng recognize the true nature of Yang Fu Xiang. To protect himself, Yang Fu Xiang slandered Jiang Shi Cheng as a traitor to the Tian Di Hui, issuing an order: "Anyone who encounters Jiang Shi Cheng should kill him on sight." When Qianlong went to the magistracy to punish Li Man Cang, he indeed fell into Yamamoto Taro's ambush. Fortunately, Xue Shu Ying had made precautions beforehand, allowing Qianlong and his entourage to escape. The assassination attempt on Qianlong failed, and Yamamoto Taro was furious, dispatching his daughter Yamamoto Keiko, Banpen Ryuichi, and other samurai to search the entire city for Qianlong. The members of the Tian Di Hui, misled by Yang Fu Xiang, also cooperated with the action.A large-scale ambush began... Emperor Qianlong, following the advice of Xue Shuying, hid in a hotel and no longer ventured out. Ban Ben Longyi and others, upon learning the news, rushed to the scene with their men. The long-retired boss's wife, upon hearing the situation, fearlessly protected Emperor Qianlong as he escaped, fighting valiantly until her death. Faced with the grave situation, Wu Chunzi volunteered to go to Ba Zhou to seek reinforcements. At the same time, Xue Shuying requested that his former opponent, Xiao Yiming, who had long been in seclusion, re-emerge to lend a helping hand, but was refused. Xue Shuying's prolonged absence caused the princess great concern. Emperor Qianlong and his companions, in a panic, fled to an abandoned temple, with Yamaguchi Keiko and others closely pursuing them. In a critical moment, Doctor Wu stepped forward, disguising himself as Emperor Qianlong to draw away the Japanese pirates, but was killed himself. During his escape, Emperor Qianlong encountered Japanese pirates, and his companions, Left Kuang and Deputy General Wang, were successively wounded. Lone Ranger and Jiang Shicheng, who had come to his senses, arrived, but were outnumbered. While killing all the Japanese pirates, Left Kuang and Deputy General Wang fought to the death, and Jiang Shicheng was also severely injured and killed by the pursuing Deputy Chief Yang. Emperor Qianlong once again faced a critical situation. At this moment, fortunately, Xue Shuying arrived in time, bringing Emperor Qianlong and the princess to the Shengfang Martial Arts Association to seek help from Master Dong Taishi. The martial artists of the Shengfang Martial Arts Association understood the greater good and, for the safety of the nation, resolved to protect Emperor Qianlong at all costs. Yamaguchi Tauro and Deputy Chief Yang, along with the remaining elite forces, surrounded the Shengfang Martial Arts Association. After a fierce battle, just as Xue Shuying was about to fall to Yamaguchi Tauro's blade, Xiao Yiming appeared, and together they eliminated Yamaguchi Tauro and the other Japanese pirates. To reward Xue Shuying's three times of saving the emperor and the patriotic spirit of the Shengfang Martial Arts Association, Emperor Qianlong specially issued an imperial decree to build the "Imperial Guard" mansion; the Shengfang Martial Arts Association was designated as a royal association, with civil officials dismounting from their carriages and military officials dismounting from their horses upon encountering it, and the emperor personally inscribed the names "Swing Club" and "Drum Club" for the two associations.
