Gary (played by Linus Roache) is a priest full of confidence and ideals who has moved to a new suburb, where he is determined to spread the light of God to this barren land. One day, Gary accidentally discovers that Father Matthew (played by Tom Wilkinson) is secretly meeting his lover, which shocks him. However, amidst his shock, Gary also has his own secret—he is gay.
