In 1943, in the southern Shandong region, Commander Chen Tianfang of the Lu'nan Independent Brigade of the Eighth Route Army led his troops to intercept the Japanese army. The Chief of Staff, Lv Chong, sent an urgent telegram, mobilizing the Canglang Assault Team where Qin Feng was stationed, to head to the northernmost part of Jiangsu Province, Ganyu, to rescue comrade Wang Hua, who was detained by the Japanese army. During the rescue operation, Wang Hua was ambushed and sacrificed, and the identity of the Communist Party member, Ouyang Bing, was exposed, leading him to leave the Military Command Department Action Team. Through the secret code left by Wang Hua on Ouyang Bing before his death, Ouyang Bing learned that the location of the tungsten ore was to the west of Shijia Gou. The Canglang Assault Team arrived at Jixiang Village, where the Japanese army was also searching for tungsten ore.
