However, the prize money was quickly squandered by him and his equally unlucky, impoverished roommates, Anan (played by Yuan Shuncheng) and Laohui (played by Cheng Xuhui). Unwilling to return to poverty, Xiao Lin once again seeks help from the "Book Without Words." However, the "Book Spirit" within the book warns him that to continue winning big prizes, he must pay a great price. In order to continue enjoying wealth and luxury, Xiao Lin resolutely agrees! Following the "Book Spirit's" instructions, Xiao Lin gradually escapes his impoverished life, but the "Book Spirit" eventually reveals to him that the price he must pay is death! Only by dying can Xiao Lin become the next "Book Spirit" of the "Book Without Words," and only then can the current "Book Spirit" be liberated! Therefore, the more wealth Xiao Lin accumulates, the shorter his lifespan becomes. To free themselves from the torment of evil spirits, what even more severe price will the three of them choose to pay? For these greedy individuals, is the ultimate choice between death or a worse death?
