IFC Films has acquired the North American rights to the thriller An Acceptable Loss, directed by Joe Speer, starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Tika Sumpter. The film will have its world premiere this weekend at the Chicago Film Festival. The story is about former U.S. security advisor Elizabeth (played by Sumpter), who is threatened by her colleagues because of her secret past. Curtis plays one of her colleagues, an uncompromising female politician.
