The film consists of five stories. A struggling young man named Chen Feng (played by Chen Sicheng) falls in love with a white-collar worker named Shen Yan (played by Tong Liya) at a goodbye-to-bachelor party hosted by his friend (played by Guo Jingfei). The two then begin a passionate romance, but soon find themselves pregnant out of wedlock. They decide to get married, only to face opposition from Shen Yan's mother. Meanwhile, Shen's wealthy ex-boyfriend Hong Jiang (played by Gong Le) reappears. At the same time, Chen Feng's boss Wu Zheng (played by Wang Xuebing) is caught cheating by his wife Zhang Lei (played by Yu Nan), who angrily leaves home in the middle of the night... Zhang Lei's boss Liu Hui (played by Leon Lai) and Jialing (played by Carina Lau) secretly travel to Greece for an affair, but their differing opinions nearly lead to a major argument. Liu Hui's daughter Yangyang (played by Ouyang Nana) discovers that a boy from another class (played by Liu Haoran) often rides the same bus home as her. After an unexpected meeting, the two become close and a subtle affection grows between them. The boy's grandmother (played by Sichen Gaowa) is diagnosed with a terminal illness. In a positive move, she decides to find a new partner for her husband (played by Wang Qingxiang) to help him through the rest of his life. An overseas-educated elderly woman (played by Jin Yanling) enters their lives...
