The story takes place during the Iran-Iraq War. Shideh (played by Narges Rashidi), who is already married and has children, longs to return to university to complete her studies. However, historical issues completely shatter her dream of pursuing her education. Her husband, Iraj (played by Bobby Naderi), is a successful doctor. Iraj recently received a conscription notice, which adds to Shideh's already troubled mind, making her increasingly anxious. After an unpleasant argument, the family of three tearfully bids farewell. Their young daughter, Dorsa (played by Avin Manshadi), cannot sleep peacefully at night. Dorsa has heard terrifying stories about demons from her playmates, which makes her uneasy and constantly worried about the arrival of horror. The war is getting closer to their doorstep, and death is constantly threatening this lonely mother-daughter pair. Meanwhile, supernatural phenomena begin to occur in their home, which is already in turmoil...
