Rock musician Pan Yi left home to pursue his dream, but after achieving fame, he was framed by a villain and had no choice but to return to his hometown to seek financial help from his father, Pan Bingye. Pan Bingye did not want his shadow puppetry, which he had devoted his life to, to decline, so he used the money to set up a shadow puppetry school, only to be swindled. With the help of Pan Yi's girlfriend and manager, Bai Zhenyi, the father and son gradually eliminated the barriers in their hearts and, together with many friends, successfully won a spot in the city's arts festival with their unique performance combining rock music and shadow puppetry.
