Miyo and her remarried husband Jiro, along with their son Keita, were living a peaceful and happy life. However, the sudden appearance of her former deaf-mute husband, who had once gone missing, led Miyo to make an unexpected decision. Koji Fukuda, who won the Special Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival for his film *Standing on the Edge of a Cliff*, drew inspiration from a song by singer Kazuko Yano to create this extraordinary story. Throughout the film, communication barriers and incomprehensible behavior persist, and Koji Fukuda, known for his narrative skills, uses rich metaphors and escalating dramatic conflicts to present his thoughts and interpretations on love and the essence of human nature. The film was nominated for the main competition section at the 2022 Venice Film Festival.
