Ding Xiaomin (played by Guo Caijie) and her boyfriend Xu Hui (played by Xu Zhengxi) both come from an artistic background. The two traveled a great distance to the city of art, Paris, hoping to achieve something there. In terms of their relationship, the kind but somewhat stubborn Ding Xiaomin is completely devoted to Xu Hui. To fulfill her boyfriend's artistic dreams, she willingly gives up her own future, working part-time to subsidize the family and alleviate their financial difficulties.
