King Zhou of Shang was bewitched by the fox demon Daji, leading to the prevalence of demons and the suffering of the people. As a result, the Primordial Lord began refining the Mixed Pearl to assist the Zhou in overthrowing King Zhou. His disciple Taiyi True Man assisted the Mixed Pearl in reincarnating into the Li family, reborn as Nezha. In Nezha's seventeenth year, he witnessed Li Jing capturing a demon and angrily severed ties with his father. His mother, Yin Lady, was accidentally killed by a demon, leaving Nezha utterly devastated. Nezha sacrificed himself to save the people of Chen Tang Pass.
