During the day, Karen (played by Leung Wai Ka) is a barely noticeable host on a television channel, but at night, she is a party animal, often drinking until dawn in nightclubs. Wen (played by Fong Lap Shan) is a small-time office worker who spends his free time drinking with friends and playing soccer, blending into the background. One day, Wen develops feelings for Karen. She agrees to go out on a date with him, and they become a couple. He thinks love has come his way, but she sees him as a "handyman," calling him when she needs him and dismissing him when she doesn't, saying she only considers him a friend, not a romantic interest. Wen isolates himself, but later, when Karen faces difficulties in her work and her relationships become tumultuous, she approaches Wen again. They watch movies, hang out in bars, and watch Wen play soccer, and she never arrives late. However, Wen is no longer the same as before. Despite their mutual desire for love, why can't they be together?
