The remote town of Barclay is a peaceful and harmonious place, where the local residents are friendly and kind, and happiness and joy are everywhere. Renée Chaplin (played by Felicity Mason) is a beautiful girl in the town who has recently inherited her ancestors' estate and farm. However, misfortune strikes, as the family's legacy of debt results in the bank seizing all her newly inherited property, including the farm she grew up on. Heartbroken, Renée decides to leave her hometown with her boyfriend and move to another city to start a new life. Just as they are leaving, the sky suddenly falls with numerous intensely burning meteorites. People are being hit by the meteorites, but soon after, they rise from the ground, transforming into ruthless, bloodthirsty living dead. Renée's boyfriend is no exception. Faced with the danger of being killed by her boyfriend, Renée is saved at the last moment by the farmer Marlin (played by Mungo McKay). She and several other survivors must find a way to escape the infected death town...
