Video information
Violinist Liu Zhikang (played by Takeshi Kaneshiro) and translator Cai Jiayi (played by Carina Lau) live in rooms separated by just one wall. However, they have never met because they always walk in opposite directions at the same time and place—one to the left, the other to the right. One day, they finally meet at one end of a pond in the same park and hit it off immediately. A happy and sweet afternoon quickly passes, and as dusk approaches, a sudden downpour forces them to part in a hurry. They exchange phone numbers, but upon returning home, they discover that the paper with the number has been smudged by the rain. To ensure that Liu Zhikang and Cai Jiayi never meet again, Little Red and Dr. Hu, who secretly love them, devise a scheme. With the park undergoing demolition, they begin to believe that they truly have no fate together.
