Ko Lok (Andy Lau) was originally a doctor, but he often neglected his family due to his dedication to his work. It wasn't until his wife, Leung Zi Qing (Ella), passed away in an accident that he realized the importance of family, prompting him to switch careers and become an ambulance officer, leading a more structured life. However, his longing for his wife never diminished. Sam (Carina Lau) suffers from severe heart disease, and after Ko's wife's passing, her donated heart gave Sam a new lease on life. However, Sam began to harbor suspicions about her husband, Derek (Andy Lau), eventually leading him to leave her. Sam's transplanted heart developed major issues, putting her life in danger. Ko Lok, upon noticing that Sam resembles his wife from years ago, decides to help her find Derek. Ko Lok's actions also help Sam understand the meaning of true love.
