Ariane (played by Sophie Marceau) and her husband Hugo (played by Dany Boon) have been married for ten years. Although the initial passion between them still lingers, it has been gradually eroded by the mundane routines of daily life. Hugo is constantly on the go, dealing with work-related matters for his company, while Ariane juggles her roles as a homemaker, raising two children, and managing a jewelry business with a friend. She is overwhelmed with responsibilities, and the couple's complaints and conflicts have escalated, threatening their marriage. Fearing that their relationship is on the verge of collapse, Ariane decides to save their marriage by coming up with a seemingly absurd plan: they will swap roles and live each other's lives for a year. Thus, Ariane becomes a corporate executive, while Hugo begins to juggle the responsibilities of caring for the children and managing the jewelry business. After a difficult adjustment period filled with embarrassing situations, the two gradually begin to understand the hardships of each other's roles. Just as their relationship starts to mend, with their bond being repaired by a series of humorous incidents, the police unexpectedly show up at their door... This film is adapted from the novel of the same name by contemporary French writer Alex Ghyld.
